Live Review: Terrorvision, Don Valley Stadium, 6th June, 1993

Formaldehyde is one of the better debut albums for by a British rock band in recent years, so in the baking hot Don Valley Stadium, playing to their own Yorkshire folk, I was keen to see how they'd cope.

Having a reasonable sound for an opening act helped, although it didn't help having to play to a docile crowd, just beginning to stream in. But their sharp blend of rock, power pop, and snappy punk, best epitomised by songs like "American TV" and "Problem Solved," sparked off a few ripples of approval.

the fuse is yet to be lit, but this slot might well take off pretty soon.
