PREVIEW: ANGRY ANDERSON 1991

ANGRY ANDERSON's been rather silent for some time, since Kyle's and Jase took a stroll up the aisle. Bit of a waste of time writing for them 'cos they split. But unperturbed by such events, ANGRY has been hard at work knocking together his second album Blood From Stone, not, as you might have thought, an attempt to pick up the baton that ROSE TATTOO dropped, but he still knows how to rock, covering the STEPPENWOLF masterpiece "Born to be Wild." The album was produced in LA by the ubiquitous Beau Hill (WINGER, etc.), along with Michael Slamer. He may not be an oil painting, but ANGRY ANDERSON has one hell of a voice. His new band is made up of ex-TATTOO's Robin Riley (guitar) and Bobby Barth ex-AXE and BLACKFOOT (also guitar), former AMGEL's bassist Jim Hillburn and drummer Tim Powell.
