The QUIREBOYS are caught in October last year at London's late lamented T&C. This, well before the Bitter Sweet and Twisted album saw the light of day. Basically a blow-by-blow account of the show, the visuals will win no awards, too dark in places quickfire picture interchanges in others. Nothing special there, then. Despite the fact that the new material was, at this stage, still being interwoven into the set, what the video does do is capture the spirit of a Quireboys gig, which is the whole point of the exercise. Witness the raucous finale of "Sex Party," "Brother Louie," "Seven O'clock," and "Long Time Comin'" supplemented by the poignancy of "I Don't Love You Anymore" for proof. Not the greatest video of his genre but an enjoyable hour and a bit nonetheless.
