Focus were a Dutch progressive rock band formed in 1969. They were led by Thijs Van Leer, a classically trained musician. On Hocus Pocus, one of their biggest hits, he yodels, plays Hammond organ and flute, and also whistles, in a 1973 performance shown on NBC's Midnight Special.
