Very heavy. Very hard, precise rhythms. Very gut-wrenching vocals, as if singer-bassist Ron Boyce is spewing out Satan. The lyrics, if you can make them out, attempt to convey impressionistic, dark mystery.
"This will be my last call/ I am with a different tribe now," mutters the distorted fuzzbox voice on the broodingingly powerful "Serpent Moves." They can sound quite thrashy, but the Rush-influenced guitars and the song structures keep them clear of grotesque, cartoonish death metal. Music to play as your house burns down.
