Simple Minds had something to prove in 2011. They weren't just 80s has-beens who recorded the oh-so-ironic "Don't You Forget About Me."
Riding high on a brace of excellent albums -- 2005's Black & White and 2009's Graffiti Soul (read Mark Liddell's review) -- they wanted the World to take notice. On the 25th of June they played Cannock Chase, England.
