This is a picture showing the famous Beatles crossing in front of the Abbey Road studios in St. John's Wood, London. I used to live next door. The black and white zebra crossing had been scraped off to allow a bit of resurfacing work, no doubt disappointing tourists who had travelled thousands of miles to see it.
