Back in the 60s being in a rock band meant you ran the risk of ODing or having your brains fried. Nowadays, the main danger seems to be getting a dodgy tat. Here Biffy Clyro frontman Simon Neil shows off work still in progress on his back, backstage at a gig in Japan in 2010. The phrase tattooist's notepad springs to mind.
